iPad Creativity Bootcamp
Start the year strong by getting your students to explore a range of creative projects on the iPad exploring a topic they LOVE to talk about… themselves! With step by step instructions, and links to COMPLETE VIDEO DEMONSTRATIONS of each project, this journal is perfect for teachers of any skill level.
Within this journal, students will complete:
A unique and colourful self portrait using the Camera app and the Mark Up annotating tools within the Photos app.
A Line Draw animation of their name, exported as an animated GIF.
The journal also includes 2 bonus Keynote activities - A photo scavenger hunt using a Keynote template with Placeholders, and a Keynote Shape Library challenge.
The creative projects were intentionally chosen for this journal, as the skills students will gain in the process can be used time and time again, across all learning areas. A PDF Teachers Guide is also available to download and this offers more ideas for where you might use Mark Up, Line Draw animation and Clips movies in your classroom.
You can choose to give students the entire journal or copy and paste select projects into a new Keynote presentation (screen recording of how to do this is included in the teachers guide). Students can complete this entirely on their own, following the step-by-step instructions or watching the demo videos using the links provided in the journal OR you could run the video demonstrations for the whole class, pausing when needed and completing each activity together.
